A- Introduction
Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions represent the practices and observance of our school for maintaining the academic quality and to strengthen the welfare and promote a stable environment. The terms and conditions which are inclusive of form of admission, conditions of fees payment details that forms the basis for legally binding the parent and the school for sourcing and providing educational services.
B - Terminology
Admission form or form of admission: A booklet consisting of the details of student’sprofile, parent’s details, emergency contact details, rules and regulations, documents as required by the Ministry of Education signed by the parents to complete the process of admission.
C - Medical
Medical records or medical information: A medical record and information sheet must be duly filled outby the parents and submitted to the administration office.The medical report must consist of any medical condition that a student has or needs that must be addressed.The injuries that require medical attention will be given immediately by our school doctor. However, medical attention will be done as suggested by the school doctor and student will be taken to a nearby hospital to deal with the case of emergency.
D – Working days
Students will attend school on five days a week, i.e., from Sunday to Thursday. The school might change its timings and the working days as per the requirements of curriculum and the events.
E – Parent roles and responsibilities
1. Special precautions for the security of the child: It is in the interest of the student, that the parents must bring it to the notice of management and the principal of anything, that can be a risk factor and might affect the security of the child.
2. Confidentiality: The school might have to give the need-to-know information to the relevant student if his/her activities on the social media are against the school policies. The school reserves the right to monitor the activity of the students on the school internet.
3. Disclosures: For the welfare of the students, it is important for parents to disclose all the information relating to any medical conditions, any history of learning disability or special need required or any other facts that can affect the child.
4. Visit by parents: The visit has to be scheduled in advance by taking an appointment from the respective departments at Alwadi.
F – Ethos of Alwadi International School
Alwadi International School believes in maintaining an atmosphere of equality, justice and rights. Harassment, bullying and discrimination will not be tolerated. The school in every way will protect the rights and trust of the students. (Ref.Bullying Policy & Guidelines)
G – Counseling
Proper counseling is provided by our school counsellor to help our students in distress and a record of the same is maintained by school to help the students in better ways. Emotional support and understanding is considered as integral part of our School for student’s welfare policy.
H – Behaviour
For any case of behaviour issues, they will be taken care by our school management, three rounds of counseling and verbal instructions will be provided by the building supervisor / teachers / student counsellor / respective department headmistress. Based on the severity of the case the principal may intervene to take corrective actions. If indiscipline persists the Principal reserves the right to suspend / expel the students.
I – Damage to the school property
The parents will be informed of any damage caused by the student to school property. After careful evaluation, the parent/student will be asked to bear the cost. In case of loss dairy /report/ID card, parents must inform / contact the respective department to get a new one, the cost of which will be borne by the parent
J – Complaints

K – Transport
The school provides a transport facility for the students. However, there will be no immediate request entertained for taking the transport for another route. If any need arises, the parents must notify the school administration. It is up to the school administration to accept or decline the request.
School Transport Policy
1. Neither the bus driver nor the bus security will be responsible to pick-up/drop the child at the doorstep of the Child’s residence.
2. Students are not allowed to change their pick-up/drop points temporarily for any reason.
3. Parents need to follow the time given by the transport in charge and be available at the pick-up/drop point to supervise the child. In case of any delay (after 3 minutes) the bus will not wait, and the parent must arrange their own transport.
4. Students from KG to Grade-4 will be handed over only to the Parents/ authorized persons and Grade-5 and above students will be dropped off at their points.
5. Whereas the running time is calculated to keep it to the minimum and it will be our endeavour to stick to the schedule. Delays or diversions caused due to traffic congestions/road repairs will be inevitable.
6. It should be noted that in case of extreme or persistent misbehaviour, school management reserves the right to suspend transport facilities or take immediate action. School transport arrangements will then become the responsibility of the parents.
7. The residence address changes mid-year: Please note that the transport facility can continue only for the existing points. New points/routes must be notified to the transport in charge in writing within 7 days of change of address. It is up to the school administration to accept or decline the request.
8. The transport fee is to be paid in advance. If transport fee is not paid by the first week of the term, School reserves the right to deny service.
9. Under no circumstances are parents allowed to ride on the school bus.
L – Field trips / Picnic
Students will be taken outside the school for field trips / picnics, with the consent of the parents. A circular with the details will be sent to parents.
M – Admission and Entry to the School
M.1. Registration
Applicants will be considered for admission after the required steps for admission have been fulfilled. The applicants to AIS are taken or admitted on several factors. The process of admission to the school starts with the entrance exam, followed by fulling all other admission requirements. A meeting with the principal will be arranged prior to admission.
M.2. Fees
The school accepts payments through cash, bank transfer and by cheque. For bank transfer payments an email should be sent giving the name/s, grade/s and ID No/s of student/s, along with the transaction details. The receipt for the payment is issued only after the transaction is reflected in the school’s bank account. The school fee schedule is as follows
N – Withdrawal from the School
Parents are requested to inform the school well in advance of their decision to withdraw their child / children from Alwadi International School.
The follow document/s are required to process the documents required for leaving:
• Students leaving within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia : Acceptance from the new school
• Students leaving outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: Exit-Reentry + Acceptance from a School/College
• Students leaving on exit – Exit visa
• Students graduating from Grade 12 – No documents are required.
O – Transfer Certificate
The transfer certificate will be issued only after the above-mentioned conditions are met. As the requirements are met the Transfer certificate will be issued.
