MUN

What is MUN ?

Model United Nations (MUN) is a simulation of the United Nations (UN). students assemble as delegates from various countries around the world to discuss some of the world’s most pressing issues.

How do Students benefit from MUN?

Model UN enhances delegates’ knowledge of international relations while allowing them to gain speaking and communication skills. Throughout debate simulations and an innovative crisis programme, participants will gain immense research skills and exchange ideas with peers to solve real world problems.

Oxford MUN

Oxford Model United Nations, an Oxford Global initiative, is the largest high school Model UN conference in the UK, consisting of delegates attending from across Europe, Asia, and North America. OxfordMUN places great emphasis on the in-depth examination and discussion of pressing issues such as international peace and security as well as economic and social progress. Our students - Iman Qureshi, Safa Abdul Qayyum and Muhammad Zainul Abedin, part of an organization known as IYCFA (International Youth Council of Foreign Affairs) have introduced this to our school and we are pleased to announce that our school has been invited to this year’s OxfordMUN!
